Finesse work surfaces in 12mm, 22mm and 38mm thicknesses are faced with our own specially developed abrasion resistant surface to ensure maximum performance under the rigorous standards of a modern domestic kitchen.
All Finesse work surfaces have a sealed front edge to prevent the penetration of moisture and steam with a sealed back edge and backing paper.
The laminate surface is highly resistant to abrasion, high temperatures, impact and household stains and will remain hygienic and easy to clean.
Use a damp cloth and a mild detergent or non-abrasive cleaner to keep the laminate surface clean and hygienic. Any potentially stubborn stains should be removed immediately and the use of abrasive cleaners should be avoided.
Whilst your Finesse work surface is highly resistant to high temperatures and abrasion you should always put hot objects onto heat resistant mats, trivets, cigarettes into ashtrays and prepare food on a chopping board.
Take extra care with gloss and etched finish worktops – they are more prone to marking. Some crockery items, kitchen utensils and other objects sliding across your worktop will produce fine marks in the laminate. Try to avoid sliding rough based objects across the surface.
Kronospan Ltd undertakes to replace any work surface shown to be defective in manufacture for a period of 10 years from date of purchase (proof of purchase required).
By us, the manufacturer and any person to whom its rights and/or duties under this guarantee are transferred and any successor to its business.

This guarantee does not apply where:
- The product is altered or modified other than in accordance with reasonable instructions supplied with the product.
- The damage results from any installation, use, cleaning. maintaining or repairing of the product other than in accordance with:
specifications supplied with the product: or,
reasonable instructions supplied with the product. - The damage results from any intentional, reckless or negligent act or omission of any person other than ourselves or our employees or our agents, or from any act of God, or from any animal:
- The product is supplied or installed outside the United Kingdom
- Our liability under this guarantee: We will not be liable under this Guarantee for business loss: for example, loss of contracts, loss of profits, loss of revenue or loss of anticipated savings in expenditure.
Law: This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights against any person or relating to any matter, for example, your statutory rights relating to the description, quantity, quality or fitness of the product.
The law of the relevant part of the United Kingdom applies to this Guarantee. Any court proceedings in connection with this Guarantee must be taken in the United Kingdom.
Some of the worktops in our range have a 3mm post-formed edge. This is a measurement of the radius of the smooth profile.
